FLRT3 Antibody (A-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FLRT3 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FLRT3 (A-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FLRT3, also known as fibronectin leucine-rich transmembrane protein 3 or KIAA1469, is a 649 amino acid single-pass type I membrane protein characterized by one fibronectin type-III domain and ten leucine-rich repeats, belonging to the fibronectin leucine-rich transmembrane protein family. FLRT3 is predominantly expressed in the heart, liver, lung, kidney, pancreas, brain, placenta, and skeletal muscle, where FLRT3 plays a crucial role in receptor signaling events, influencing cell adhesion and neurite outgrowth. FLRT3 interacts with various proteins, including the receptor tyrosine kinase EphA4, which is essential for mediating cell-cell interactions and guiding neuronal development. Defects in the gene encoding mouse FLRT3 have been linked to significant developmental issues, such as ventral closure and endoderm migration defects, underscoring FLRT3′s importance in proper cell differentiation and embryonic development. FLRT3 exists as multiple alternatively spliced isoforms, with FLRT3′s gene mapping to human chromosome 20, highlighting the complexity and regulatory potential of this protein in various biological processes.
