    SEE ALSO...

FKHL18 Antibody (G-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FKHL18 of mouse and rat origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FKHL18 (G-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FKHL18, also known as Forkhead box protein S1 (FoxS1) or Forkhead-related transcription factor 10 (FREAC-10), is a unique member of the Fox family of transcription factors, which are characterized by a common DNA-binding domain known as the winged-helix or forkhead domain. This family comprises 20 subclasses, with many members playing critical roles in development, metabolism, cancer, and aging. FKHL18 is predominantly expressed in the aorta, sensory neurons, and fetal testis, indicating involvement in various physiological processes. FKHL18 serves as an early sensory neuronal marker, and FKHL18 function is crucial for the integration and processing of neuronal signaling, which is essential for energy turnover and motor function. Understanding FKHL18′s role in these processes may provide insights into neuronal health and the mechanisms underlying sensory perception and motor coordination.

Are there any issues with using sc-398599: FKHL18 (G-7) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

    Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-398599 conjugates.
