FKBP11 Antibody (D-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects FKBP11 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FKBP11 (D-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FKBP11, also known as FK506-binding protein 11 or FKBP19, is a 201 amino acid single-pass membrane protein that plays a crucial role in the folding and trafficking of proteins within the endoplasmic reticulum, which is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and function. FKBP11 belongs to the FKBP-type peptidyl-prolyl isomerase family, which catalyzes the folding of proline-rich polypeptides, thereby influencing various cellular processes. FKBP11 is predominantly expressed in secretory tissues such as the pancreas, pituitary gland, stomach, lymph nodes, and salivary glands, and is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 12q13.12. Notably, FKBP11 activity can be inhibited by immunosuppressive drugs like FK506 and rapamycin, which highlights its significance in pharmacological contexts and potential therapeutic applications.
