    SEE ALSO...

FIGNL1 Antibody (A-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects FIGNL1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-FIGNL1 antibody (A-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FIGNL1, or fidgetin-like 1, is a 674 amino acid protein that belongs to the AAA ATPase family and is known for its critical role in regulating cellular processes such as osteoblast proliferation and differentiation. FIGNL1 exists as a hexamer and undergoes alternative splicing to produce two isoforms, which adds complexity to functional roles in the cell. FIGNL1 utilizes magnesium as a cofactor and is phosphorylated in response to DNA damage, likely by ATM or ATR kinases, highlighting involvement in cellular response to stress and maintaining genomic integrity. FIGNL1 gene is located on human chromosome 7, a region associated with various genetic disorders, including Osteogenesis imperfecta and Shwachman-Diamond syndrome, underscoring potential implications in developmental and disease processes.
