FDX1L Antibody (C-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FDX1L protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-FDX1L antibody (C-12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FDX1L, an Adrenodoxin-like protein, plays a crucial role in electron transport within mitochondria, facilitating electron transfer from NADPH-dependent adrenodoxin reductase to cytochrome P450 enzymes. This process is vital for steroid hormone biosynthesis, including cortisol and aldosterone, which are essential for regulating metabolism, immune response, and blood pressure. FDX1L is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 19, a region known for high gene density and association with various genetic disorders. FDX1L′s localization in the adrenal cortex mitochondrial matrix underscores its importance in steroidogenesis, as any dysfunction in this pathway can lead to significant hormonal imbalances and related health issues. Anti-FDX1L antibody (C-12) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying adrenal function and related metabolic pathways, providing insights into molecular mechanisms underlying various endocrine disorders.
