SEE ALSO...

FBXO44 Antibody (C-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FBXO44 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FBXO44 (C-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FBXO44, also known as F-box only protein 44, FBG3, FBX30, FBX44, FBX6A, or FBXO6A, is a 255 amino acid protein characterized by the presence of one F-box domain and one FBA domain, which are crucial for its role in the SCF (Skp1-CUL-1-F-box protein) type E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. FBXO44 is primarily expressed in the kidney and brain, with lower expression levels in the liver, heart, and spleen, and exists as multiple alternatively spliced isoforms. FBXO44 plays a significant role in substrate recognition and recruitment for ubiquitination, which is essential for regulating various cellular processes, including the cell cycle, immune responses, signaling pathways, and developmental events. FBXO44′s ability to target specific proteins, such as cyclins and cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors, for proteasomal degradation underscores its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and regulating protein turnover, making FBXO44 a vital component in the intricate network of cellular regulation.

Are there any issues with using sc-398020: FBXO44 (C-10) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-398020 conjugates.
