FBXO3 Antibody (C-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects FBXO3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FBXO3 (C-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FBXO3, also known as F-box protein 3, plays a crucial role in cellular processes by functioning as a substrate-recognition component of the SCF (Skp1-CUL-1-F-box protein) type E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. This complex enables ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of various target proteins, including cyclins and IκB-α, which are vital for cell cycle regulation and immune response modulation. FBXO3 consists of 471 amino acids and features both an F-box domain and an apaG domain, which are critical for interaction with other proteins such as Skp1 and CUL-1. FBXO3 exists in two isoforms produced by alternative splicing, allowing for functional diversity in interactions and regulatory roles within the cell. FBXO3′s ability to modulate the degradation of key regulatory proteins underscores its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to various physiological signals.
