FBXO29 Antibody (D-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FBXO29 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FBXO29 Antibody (D-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FBXO29, also known as F-box only protein 29 or F-box/WD repeat-containing protein 8 (FBXW8), is a 598 amino acid protein characterized by a 40-amino acid F-box domain and five WD repeats, which are essential for its role in the SCF (Skp1-CUL-1-F-box protein) type E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. This complex is crucial for substrate recognition and recruitment, facilitating the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of various target proteins, including cyclins and β-catenin, thereby regulating critical cellular processes such as the cell cycle and immune responses. FBXO29 specifically recognizes and binds to phosphorylated proteins, which is vital for the selective degradation of these substrates, ensuring proper cellular function and homeostasis. Additionally, FBXO29 exists in two isoforms due to alternative splicing, which may contribute to functional diversity in different cellular contexts.
