SEE ALSO...

FBXO25 Antibody (G-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FBXO25 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FBXO25 Antibody (G-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FBXO25, also known as F-box only protein 25, is a 367 amino acid protein characterized by a C-terminal F-box domain, which is essential for its role in the SCF (Skp1-CUL-1-F-box protein) type E3 ubiquitin ligase complex. This complex is crucial for substrate recognition and recruitment for ubiquitination, thereby regulating cellular processes such as cell cycle, immune response, signaling pathways, and developmental processes through targeted degradation of proteins like cyclins and b-catenin. FBXO25 is predominantly localized in the nucleus and interacts directly with Skp1 p19 and CUL-1, highlighting its importance in cellular regulation. Disruption of FBXO25 has been linked to X-linked mental retardation, underscoring its significance in neurodevelopmental processes.
