SEE ALSO...

FBXO22 Antibody (FF-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects FBXO22 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-FBXO22 antibody (FF-7) is available as a non-conjugated monoclonal isotype antibody. FBXO22, also known as F-box only protein 22 or FBX22p44, is a 403 amino acid protein predominantly expressed in the liver, where FBXO22 plays a crucial role in cellular regulation. As a member of the F-box protein family, FBXO22 is an integral component of the SCF (Skp1-CUL-1-F-box protein) type E3 ubiquitin ligase complex, which is essential for substrate recognition and recruitment for ubiquitination. This process is vital for the targeted degradation of various proteins, including cyclins and cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitors, which are key regulators of the cell cycle and other critical cellular processes. FBXO22-mediated degradation of these proteins underscores FBXO22′s importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and regulating the immune response, signaling pathways, and developmental processes. Notably, three isoforms of FBXO22 exist due to alternative splicing, which may contribute to FBXO22′s functional diversity and regulatory roles within different cellular contexts.
