SEE ALSO...

FAST Antibody (B-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects FAST protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-FAST antibody (B-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FAST protein, also known as CD95 or APO-1, is a type I transmembrane protein that plays a crucial role in mediating viral immunity and regulating apoptosis. FAST′s ability to initiate programmed cell death is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and eliminating infected or damaged cells, thereby preventing the proliferation of potentially harmful cells. FAST interacts with several key proteins involved in apoptotic signaling pathways, including FADD (Fas-associated protein with death domain) and caspases, which are essential for the execution of apoptosis. Understanding FAST′s interactions and functions is important for developing therapeutic strategies targeting immune responses and cancer treatment, as dysregulation of this pathway can lead to various diseases.
