    SEE ALSO...

FAM55A Antibody (H-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects FAM55A of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-FAM55A antibody (H-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FAM55A is located in the cytoplasm and plays a role in cellular signaling pathways, which are crucial for maintaining normal cellular functions and responses to external stimuli. Understanding FAM55A localization influences protein interactions and involvement in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation and differentiation. FAM55A has been provisionally designated pending further characterization, and potential implications in disease mechanisms remain an area of ongoing research. Given the complexity of chromosome 11, which harbors numerous genes associated with various disorders, studying FAM55A could provide insights into functional roles and contributions to health and disease.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-514349 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
