    SEE ALSO...

FAM13C1 Antibody (E-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects FAM13C1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FAM13C1 (E-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FAM13C1, also known as family with sequence similarity 13, member C, consists of 585 amino acids and is part of the FAM13 family, which is implicated in various cellular processes. FAM13C1 is involved in regulating the Rho GTPase signaling pathway, which plays a crucial role in cell migration, proliferation, and differentiation. This function is particularly important in cancer biology, as dysregulation of Rho GTPases can lead to enhanced tumor cell invasion and metastasis. FAM13C1 is located on human chromosome 10, a region that harbors several critical genes, including tumor suppressor PTEN, which is associated with Cowden syndrome when mutated. Additionally, chromosome 10 is linked to various genetic disorders, highlighting FAM13C1′s significance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and potential implications in cancer research.
