    SEE ALSO...

FAM123A Antibody (G-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects FAM123A protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FAM123A (G-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FAM123A protein, encoded by the family with sequence similarity 123A gene, consists of 671 amino acids and plays a significant role in cellular processes, including cell adhesion and migration, which are crucial for tissue development and repair. FAM123A (G-1) monoclonal antibody targets a protein involved in regulating the Wnt signaling pathway, a key pathway that influences cell proliferation and differentiation, making FAM123A significant in both normal physiological processes and cancer biology. The gene encoding FAM123A is located on chromosome 13, a region that harbors several critical tumor suppressor genes, including BRCA2 and RB1, which are implicated in breast cancer and retinoblastoma, respectively. Understanding FAM123A function and interactions within these pathways can provide insights into potential roles in tumorigenesis and other diseases, highlighting anti-FAM123A antibody (G-1) significance in research applications.
