    SEE ALSO...

FAM117A Antibody (G-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects FAM117A protein of mouse, rat, human, and hamster origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). FAM117A (G-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. FAM117A protein plays a significant role in cellular processes, although exact functions remain to be fully elucidated. FAM117A protein′s cytoplasmic location enables interactions with various signaling pathways and cellular components, potentially influencing cell growth and differentiation. This cytoplasmic localization suggests involvement in regulating intracellular signaling cascades, which maintain cellular homeostasis and respond to external stimuli. Since FAM117A gene product is provisionally designated and requires further characterization, ongoing research may reveal implications in health and disease, particularly in tumor biology and cellular stress responses.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-393898 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: DefinitelyNotMatt
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
