EXOSC8 Antibody (H-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects EXOSC8 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). EXOSC8 (H-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. EXOSC8, also known as exosome component 8, plays a crucial role in RNA metabolism as a component of the exosome complex, which is essential for degrading unstable mRNAs containing AU-rich elements in untranslated regions. EXOSC8 is localized primarily in the nucleolus and is one of six RNase-PH domain subunits forming a PNPase-like ring structure within the exosome, vital for processing 7S pre-RNA. EXOSC8′s structural integrity facilitates proper assembly and function of the exosome complex, ensuring efficient RNA turnover and regulation of gene expression. EXOSC8 interacts with various proteins, enhancing RNA processing and stability roles, and can self-interact, indicating potential involvement in complex regulatory networks within the cell.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with EXOSC8 (H-8): sc-393027?

Asked by: jerojero
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
