EXOSC6 Antibody (D-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects EXOSC6 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). EXOSC6 (D-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. EXOSC6 protein, also known as MTR3 (mRNA transport regulator 3 homolog), is a crucial component of the exosome complex, which plays a vital role in RNA metabolism by degrading unstable mRNAs that contain AU-rich elements in their untranslated regions. This 272 amino acid exonuclease is essential for processing 7S pre-RNA into mature 5.8S rRNA, highlighting its importance in ribosomal RNA maturation and overall cellular function. EXOSC6 belongs to the RNase PH family and is primarily localized in the nucleolus, where EXOSC6 interacts with other exosome components such as EXOSC1, EXOSC7, and EXOSC8, forming a multienzyme ribonuclease complex that is critical for maintaining RNA homeostasis within the cell.
