    SEE ALSO...

EVC2 Antibody (A-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects EVC2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). EVC2, also known as limbin, plays a crucial role in the development of various tissues, including the vertebral bodies, kidneys, ribs, lungs, and limbs, as well as the heart. EVC2 contains a leucine zipper and a transmembrane domain, which are essential for function in cellular signaling and interaction with other proteins. Notably, EVC2 is involved in the pathogenesis of Ellis-van Creveld syndrome and Weyers acrodental dysostosis, both of which are characterized by skeletal abnormalities and other systemic issues. The presence of EVC2 in developing tissues underscores importance in proper organogenesis and skeletal development, making EVC2 a significant target for research into these genetic disorders. Anti-EVC2 antibody (A-3) is an invaluable tool for studying the molecular mechanisms underlying these conditions and for exploring potential therapeutic avenues.
