    SEE ALSO...

EVC2 Antibody (F-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects EVC2 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-EVC2 antibody (F-12) is available as the non-conjugated form. EVC2, also known as limbin, plays a crucial role in the development of various tissues, particularly in the formation of vertebral bodies, kidneys, ribs, lungs, and limbs, as well as the heart. EVC2 function is essential for normal skeletal development and organ formation, and mutations in EVC2 can lead to significant developmental disorders. Specifically, EVC2 is implicated in Ellis-van Creveld syndrome (EVC) and Weyers acrodental dysostosis (WAD), both characterized by skeletal abnormalities and other systemic issues. EVC is an autosomal recessive disorder that often results in severe heart defects, while WAD, an autosomal dominant condition, presents with milder symptoms but still includes short stature and dysplastic nails. EVC2′s ability to interact with other proteins involved in cellular signaling pathways further underscores its importance in developmental biology and disease pathology, making anti-EVC2 antibody (F-12) a valuable tool for researchers studying these conditions.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-393128 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
