Can we use this antibody for IF and IHC staining in paraffin-embedded mouse tissues?

Thank you for your question. ERα Antibody (C-311): sc-787 is recommended for detection of ERα of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and IHC(P), so using it for IF or IHC(P) staining should work well. For published data with this antibody in murine tissues, please see PMID 26191121.

Can the TransCruz reagent sc-787 X be used for Western Blot and other applications, or is it exclusively for use in GelShift and ChIP?

Thank you for your question. The TransCruz form of this antibody, sc-787 X, can be used in applications such as Western Blot or IF/IHC, the recommended dilution factor just needs to be scaled up by 10 due to the increased concentration of the vial.
