SEE ALSO...

Eps8 Antibody (F-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Eps8 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Eps8 antibody (F-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Eps8 plays a crucial role in cellular signaling, particularly in the context of receptor tyrosine kinases (RTKs), which are essential for regulating cell growth and proliferation. Eps8 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and at the cell membrane, where Eps8 interacts with various signaling molecules, thereby influencing actin dynamics and cellular morphology. This localization is vital as Eps8 participates in the modulation of cytoskeletal rearrangements in response to extracellular signals, which is critical for processes such as cell migration and division. Dysregulation of Eps8 and associated pathways can lead to aberrant cell behavior and contribute to oncogenesis, highlighting the importance of studying Eps8 in cancer research. Furthermore, Eps8 has been shown to associate with the epidermal growth factor receptor, despite lacking a functional SH2 domain, and contains both a pleckstrin homology domain and a SH3 domain, the roles of which are still being investigated.
