SEE ALSO...

Eps15 Antibody (E-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Eps15 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Eps15 antibody (E-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Eps15 plays a crucial role in regulating cellular processes, particularly in receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) signaling pathways, which are essential for cell growth and differentiation. Eps15 interacts with the amino-terminal portion of Crk through a conserved proline-rich domain, a characteristic feature of Crk binding proteins. This interaction suggests Eps15 may be involved in downstream signaling events triggered by RTKs, which can influence cellular transformation and proliferation. Eps15 becomes tyrosine phosphorylated following EGF stimulation, and overexpression in NIH/3T3 cells has been linked to cellular transformation, highlighting potential role in oncogenic processes. Understanding Eps15 dynamics and interactions is vital for elucidating mechanisms underlying growth regulation and implications of dysregulated signaling in cancer development.
