Datasheets
  • EPDR1 Antibody (D-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 κ EPDR1 antibody provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 68-87 within an internal region of EPDR1 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of EPDR1 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF and ELISA; also reactive with additional species, including and equine and bovine
  • m-IgG3 BP-HRP and m-IgGκ BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for EPDR1 Antibody (D-10) for WB applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with EPDR1 Antibody (D-10) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

EPDR1 Antibody (D-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects EPDR1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-EPDR1 antibody (D-10) is available as the non-conjugated form. EPDR1, also known as ependymin-related protein 1, UCC1 (up-regulated in colorectal cancer gene 1 protein), MERP1, or MERP-1 (mammalian ependymin-related protein 1 precursor), is a 244 amino acid type II transmembrane protein belonging to the ependymin family. EPDR1 is predominantly expressed in various normal tissues, with the highest levels found in adult bone marrow and umbilical cord, indicating a potential role in developmental processes and tissue homeostasis. EPDR1 exhibits significant sequence similarity to ependymins, which are glycoproteins synthesized in fibroblasts and secreted into cerebrospinal fluid, suggesting a conserved function across species. EPDR1 features two glycosylation sites and a signal peptide, which are critical for proper localization and function, particularly in calcium-dependent cell adhesion processes. EPDR1 has two isoforms resulting from alternative splicing, which may contribute to functional diversity in cellular contexts.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-393820 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Germaine
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
