    SEE ALSO...

ENDOD1 Antibody (G-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ENDOD1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-ENDOD1 antibody (G-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ENDOD1, or endonuclease domain-containing 1 protein, is a 500 amino acid secreted protein that plays a crucial role in cellular processes by functioning as a deoxyribonuclease and ribonuclease, which are essential for the degradation of nucleic acids. This activity is particularly important for maintaining cellular homeostasis and regulating gene expression, as ENDOD1 helps eliminate damaged or excess RNA and DNA, thereby preventing potential genomic instability. The gene encoding ENDOD1 is located on human chromosome 11, a region known for its association with various genetic disorders, including ataxia-telangiectasia, which is linked to mutations in the Atm gene that is also found on this chromosome. ENDOD1′s ability to interact with other proteins involved in nucleic acid metabolism further underscores its significance in cellular function and disease mechanisms.

What blocking solution should I use with ENDOD1 (G-1): sc-515153 monoclonal antibody for Western blot?

    Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. We recommend blocking with Blotto (either TBS Blotto A: sc-2333 or TBS Blotto B: sc-2335). Our Western blot protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/western-immuno-blotting
