Endo180 Antibody (B-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Endo180 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Endo180 (B-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Endo180, also known as macrophage mannose receptor C type 2 (MRC2), urokinase plasminogen activator receptor-associated protein (uPARAP), or CD280 antigen, is a type I membrane protein predominantly expressed in fetal lung and kidney tissues. Endo180′s structure features an extracellular domain containing a fibronectin type II domain, eight C-type lectin domains, and a cysteine-rich domain, which collectively facilitate its role as a cell surface receptor. This structural composition enables Endo180 to mediate collagen matrix remodeling and cell migration, crucial processes for tissue repair and regeneration. Endo180′s ability to bind to gelatin and collagens I, II, IV, and V underscores its importance in wound healing. Endo180 can form complexes with uPAR and pro-uPA, contributing to various cellular proteolytic and signaling functions, and has been implicated in the degradation of connective tissue during the progression of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
