EML2 Antibody (F-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects EML2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). EML2 (F-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. EML2, also known as echinoderm microtubule-associated protein like 2, plays a vital role in microtubule assembly dynamics, which is essential for numerous cellular processes such as cell division, intracellular transport, and maintaining cell shape. EML2 is primarily located in the cytoplasm, where EML2 interacts with microtubules to promote their elongation and enhance dynamic instability. This dynamic behavior is crucial for proper spindle formation during mitosis and for facilitating organelle and vesicle movement within cells. EML2 contains a hydrophobic ELP (HELP) domain and a large WD repeat domain, which are important for cytoskeletal assembly and regulation. Anti-EML2 antibody (F-3) enables researchers to gain insights into microtubule dynamics mechanisms and their implications in various cellular functions and diseases.
