EMILIN-5 Antibody (F-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects EMILIN-5 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). EMILIN-5 Antibody (F-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. EMILIN-5, encoded by the EMILIN3 gene, belongs to the elastin microfibril interface located proteins (EMILINs) family, which are crucial components of the extracellular matrix. EMILIN-5 features an N-terminal cysteine-rich EMI domain but lacks the C-terminal gC1q-like domain found in other EMILIN family members. EMILIN-5 is primarily expressed in human mesenchymal stem cells and plays a significant role in skeletal development, influencing bone structure formation and maintenance. EMILIN-5′s interaction with other extracellular matrix components is vital for proper tissue organization and function, highlighting EMILIN-5′s importance in developmental biology and potential implications in regenerative medicine.
