SEE ALSO...

Elongin C Antibody (56) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Elongin C protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-Elongin C antibody (56) is available as a non-conjugated format, providing researchers with a reliable tool for studying this critical protein. Elongin C plays a vital role in the Elongin (SIII) complex, which is essential for regulating transcriptional elongation in eukaryotic cells. This complex is composed of three subunits: Elongin A, which is transcriptionally active, and the regulatory subunits Elongin B and Elongin C. The interaction of the von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) protein with Elongin B and C is particularly significant, as VHL modulates the transcriptional activity of the Elongin (SIII) complex, thereby influencing gene expression and cellular responses. Mutations in the VHL gene can lead to a range of tumors, highlighting the importance of understanding Elongin C function and regulation in cancer biology. Elongin C (56) monoclonal antibody enables researchers to gain insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying these processes and explore potential therapeutic targets.
