    ELMSAN1 Antibody (B-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ELMSAN1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ELMSAN1 (B-10) antibody is available in non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ELMSAN1, also known as ELM2 and SANT domain-containing protein 1, LSR68, MIDEAS, or C14orf43, is a crucial 1,045 amino acid nuclear protein featuring one ELM2 domain and a SANT domain, playing a significant role in gene expression regulation. ELMSAN1 forms part of a deacetylase complex including transcriptional regulators such as TdTIF1 and histone deacetylase 1 (HDAC1), essential for maintaining chromatin structure and function. ELMSAN1 is encoded on human chromosome 14q24.2, a region associated with several genetic conditions, including Alzheimer′s disease due to proximity to presenilin 1 (PSEN1) gene. Additionally, chromosome 14 harbors SERPINA1 gene, whose mutations can lead to α1-anti-trypsin deficiency, causing severe lung and liver complications. The immunoglobulin heavy chain locus on chromosome 14, implicated in various B cell malignancies through translocations with chromosome 19 encoded proteins like Bcl-3, further underscores ELMSAN1′s importance in cellular processes and disease mechanisms.
