EHBP1 Antibody (A-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects EHBP1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). EHBP1 Antibody (A-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. EHBP1, also known as EH domain binding protein 1, plays a crucial role in endocytic trafficking and is involved in the regulation of actin dynamics, which is essential for maintaining cellular structure and function. EHBP1 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and interacts with several key proteins, including clathrin and dynamin, which are vital for vesicle formation and transport within cells. EHBP1 is particularly important in processes such as receptor-mediated endocytosis, where EHBP1 helps facilitate the internalization of various signaling molecules, thereby influencing cellular responses to external stimuli. The gene encoding EHBP1 is located on human chromosome 11q13.1, a region associated with several genetic disorders, highlighting EHBP1′s significance in both normal physiology and disease states.
