Datasheets
  • ECM1 Antibody (F-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 λ ECM1 antibody, cited in 4 publications, provided at 200 µg/ml
  • raised against amino acids 161-220 mapping within an internal region of ECM1 of human origin
  • ECM1 Antibody (F-1) is recommended for detection of ECM1 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA
  • Anti-ECM1 Antibody (F-1) is available conjugated to agarose for IP; HRP for WB, IHC(P) and ELISA; and to either phycoerythrin or FITC for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
  • also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488, Alexa Fluor® 546, Alexa Fluor® 594 or Alexa Fluor® 647 for WB (RGB), IF, IHC(P) and FCM, and for use with RGB fluorescent imaging systems, such as iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
  • also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 680 or Alexa Fluor® 790 for WB (NIR), IF and FCM; for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR®Odyssey®, iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
  • m-IgGλ BP-HRP (mouse IgGλ binding protein-HRP) is the preferred secondary detection reagent for ECM1 Antibody (F-1) for WB and IHC(P) applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with ECM1 Antibody (F-1) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGλ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

SEE ALSO...

ECM1 Antibody (F-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects ECM1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ECM1 antibody (F-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ECM1, or extracellular matrix protein 1, is a secreted glycoprotein that plays a crucial role in maintaining the structural integrity and function of the skin. ECM1 is predominantly localized in the extracellular matrix, where ECM1 interacts with several key components, such as Perlecan, Fibulin, and matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9), thereby contributing to the organization of the dermis. ECM1 enhances the binding of Collagen Type IV to Laminin 332, highlighting ECM1′s importance in the interstitial dermis and the dermal-epidermal junction. Mutations in the ECM1 gene are linked to the autosomal recessive disorder lipoid proteinosis (LiP), which is characterized by dermal hyalinization and basement membrane reduplication, leading to skin and mucosal thickening in affected individuals. ECM1 has four splice variants (ECM1a-ECM1d), each potentially contributing to diverse biological functions.
