EBP1 Antibody (C-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects EBP1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). EBP1 (C-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. EBP1, also known as ErbB3-binding protein 1 or PA2G4 (proliferation-associated 2G4), is a crucial RNA-binding protein that plays a significant role in cellular proliferation and differentiation. EBP1 is predominantly located in the cytoplasm but translocates to the nucleus upon stimulation with Neuregulin-1 (heregulin), highlighting a dynamic role in cellular signaling. EBP1 functions as a key component of pre-ribosomal ribonucleoprotein complexes, essential for ribosome assembly and ribosomal RNA processing regulation.
