E6-AP Antibody (E-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects E6-AP of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-E6-AP antibody (E-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. E6-AP, also known as ubiquitin protein ligase E3A (UBE3A), plays a crucial role in the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway, which is essential for regulating protein degradation and maintaining cellular homeostasis. UBE3A is primarily located in the nucleus and cytoplasm, where UBE3A facilitates the ubiquitination of target proteins, thereby marking them for degradation by the 26S proteasome.
