E-FABP Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects E-FABP in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). E-FABP, or epithelial fatty acid-binding protein, is a crucial member of the fatty acid-binding protein family, known for its role in binding stearic acid and involvement in keratinocyte differentiation. anti-E-FABP antibody (B-3) recognizes a protein predominantly expressed in the epidermis that plays a significant role in maintaining lipid homeostasis and cellular signaling within skin tissues. E-FABP′s ability to facilitate the uptake and transport of fatty acids is essential for various physiological processes, including the regulation of inflammation and response to injury. Notably, E-FABP expression is upregulated in rat dorsal root ganglia following sciatic nerve crush, indicating its potential role in neuronal differentiation and repair during development. E-FABP monoclonal antibody (B-3) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers investigating the intricate mechanisms of lipid metabolism and cellular differentiation in various biological contexts.
