Dynein HC Antibody (C-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Dynein HC protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Dynein HC antibody (C-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Dynein is a crucial motor protein that plays a vital role in intracellular transport, moving cellular cargo toward the minus end of microtubules, which is essential for maintaining cellular organization and function. Dynein HC protein is primarily located in the cytoplasm, where Dynein HC forms a complex with other dynein subunits, including intermediate and light chains, to facilitate the transport of organelles, vesicles, and other cargoes. This transport is critical for processes such as organelle positioning, cell division, and the maintenance of neuronal function. Dynein HC protein function is regulated by several interacting proteins, including dynactin, which enhances dynein′s ability to bind to cargo, and LIS1, which is involved in the regulation of dynein′s motor activity.
