SEE ALSO...

Dynamin II Antibody (G-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects Dynamin II protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Dynamin II antibody (G-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Dynamin II plays a crucial role in endocytosis, a process essential for cellular uptake of nutrients and signaling molecules, as well as synaptic transmission and neurogenesis. Unlike Dynamin I, which is primarily localized to the central nervous system, Dynamin II is ubiquitously expressed, with the highest levels found in the testis, indicating its importance in reproductive biology. The structure of Dynamin II includes SH3 and proline-rich domains that facilitate interactions with various effectors, such as microtubules and SH3 domain-containing proteins, which are vital for its GTPase activity and the rapid endocytosis process. These interactions are critical for maintaining cellular homeostasis and facilitating communication between cells, underscoring the significance of Dynamin II in both physiological and pathological contexts.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-166669 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Professor Griffin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not working! We tested this antibody on cardiac and skeletal tissue samples using a 1:100 dilution with 5% milk or 2% BSA. Unfortunately, we did not observe any bands. I'm unsure about the next steps. Could it be a problem with the batch?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great AntibodyI bought this antibody two weeks ago and used it in WB analysis. This DNM 2 antibody could specifically recognize the protein of Dynamin II at the expected MW size (100 kD). In my experiment, I use the antibody to analyze Dynamin II protein expression in HEL cell extracts. I incubated the PVDF membrane with this antibody in a dilution of 1:500 for 2 hours. It showed a bright signal. This is a very good antibody!
