SEE ALSO...

Dynamin I Antibody (D5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Dynamin I protein of mouse, rat, human, canine, and avian origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-Dynamin I antibody (D5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Dynamin I plays a crucial role in endocytosis, synaptic transmission, and neurogenesis, making Dynamin I essential for cellular communication and maintenance of neuronal health. Dynamin I is primarily localized in the central nervous system, where Dynamin I is involved in the formation of clathrin-coated vesicles, a process vital for internalization of neurotransmitters and other signaling molecules. The structure of Dynamin I includes SH3 and proline-rich domains that facilitate Dynamin I interaction with various effector proteins, which are necessary for GTPase activity and subsequent endocytic function. Notably, Dynamin I is recruited to clathrin-coated pits through Dynamin I interaction with amphiphysin, a protein highly expressed in the brain, underscoring the importance of these interactions in regulation of synaptic vesicle recycling and neuronal signaling.
