DP-1/2 Antibody (G-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects DP-1/2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-DP-1/2 antibody (G-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DP-1/2 (G-3) antibody recognizes a protein that plays a crucial role in cell cycle regulation, particularly in the transition from G1 phase to S phase, by forming a heterodimer with transcription factor E2F-1. This interaction is essential for transcriptional activation of genes promoting cell cycle progression, and dysregulation can lead to uncontrolled cell proliferation, a hallmark of cancer.
