SEE ALSO...

Dok-3 Antibody (F-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Dok-3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Dok-3 antibody (F-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Dok-3 is a crucial adapter involved in the recruitment of inhibitory molecules, particularly in immune cells such as B cells and macrophages, where Dok-3 plays a significant role in regulating immunoreceptor signaling. Upon immunoreceptor-mediated activation, Dok-3 undergoes tyrosine phosphorylation, which facilitates interaction with key signaling proteins, including the 5′ inositol phosphatase SHIP and the protein tyrosine kinase Csk. This interaction is vital for the negative regulation of signaling pathways that can lead to excessive immune responses, highlighting Dok-3′s importance in maintaining immune homeostasis. Additionally, Dok-3 is part of a family of docking proteins that contain multiple tyrosine residues and potential SH2 binding sites, which are essential for mediating various cellular signaling processes. Dok-3′s ability to modulate these pathways underscores its significance in both normal immune function and the potential development of immune-related diseases.
