    SEE ALSO...

DNAM-1 Antibody (11A8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects DNAM-1 in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and flow cytometry (FCM). DNAM-1, also known as DNAX accessory molecule-1, is a crucial transmembrane glycoprotein composed of 318 amino acids, featuring two immunoglobulin-like domains that play a significant role in immune responses. DNAM-1 is primarily located on the surface of T cells and natural killer (NK) cells, where DNAM-1 facilitates primary adhesion during cytotoxic T lymphocyte-mediated cytotoxicity. DNAM-1 interaction with ligands is essential for the activation and proliferation of immune cells, thereby enhancing their ability to target and eliminate infected or malignant cells. Proper functioning of DNAM-1 is vital for maintaining effective immune surveillance and response, making DNAM-1 an important focus for research in immunology and cancer therapy. Anti-DNAM-1 antibody (11A8) is an invaluable tool for studying the dynamics of immune cell activation and the mechanisms underlying cytotoxicity in various biological contexts.

How can DNAM-1 (11A8): sc-53581 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

    Asked by: jenniferc
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-53581 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-53581 FITC).
