DNAM-1 Antibody (D-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects DNAM-1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DNAM-1 (D-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DNAM-1, also known as DNAX accessory molecule-1, is a crucial transmembrane glycoprotein composed of 318 amino acids and features two immunoglobulin-like domains. DNAM-1 is predominantly expressed on T cells and natural killer (NK) cells, playing a vital role in the immune response by facilitating primary adhesion during cytotoxic T lymphocyte-mediated cytotoxicity. This adhesion is essential for the effective targeting and elimination of infected or malignant cells, highlighting DNAM-1′s importance in maintaining immune surveillance and response. DNAM-1′s interaction with ligands on target cells enhances the cytotoxic activity of T cells and NK cells, making DNAM-1 a significant player in the immune system′s ability to combat tumors and infections.
