    SEE ALSO...

DnaJB14 Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects DnaJB14 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-DnaJB14 antibody (D-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DnaJB14, a member of the DnaJ family, plays a crucial role in cellular protein homeostasis by functioning as a co-chaperone that assists in the proper folding of nascent polypeptides and the refolding of misfolded proteins. DnaJB14 is primarily located in the endoplasmic reticulum and is essential for maintaining cellular health, particularly under stress conditions where protein misfolding is prevalent. DnaJB14 interacts with the HSP70 chaperone machinery, facilitating the ATP hydrolysis necessary for protein folding and preventing aggregation, which is vital for cellular function and survival. The presence of a J domain in DnaJB14 is indicative of chaperone activity, and two alternatively spliced isoforms allow for functional diversity in response to various cellular conditions. DnaJB14 (D-6) monoclonal antibody enables researchers to gain insights into the mechanisms of protein folding and the cellular stress response, making this tool invaluable for studies in molecular biology and disease research.
