SEE ALSO...

DNA pol ε A Antibody (3C5.1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects DNA pol ε A in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF). Anti-DNA pol ε A antibody (3C5.1) is available in both conjugated and non-conjugated forms, providing flexibility for various experimental needs. DNA polymerase epsilon (DNA pol ε) plays a crucial role in DNA replication, particularly in synthesizing the leading strand, which is essential for maintaining genome integrity. This enzyme is a multi-subunit complex, with its catalytic subunit encoded by the POL2 gene, and is vital for accurate and efficient DNA replication. Proper functioning of DNA pol ε is critical, as replication errors can lead to mutations and genomic instability, which are hallmarks of many cancers. DNA pol ε A monoclonal antibody (3C5.1) helps researchers study interactions with other proteins involved in replication, including the sliding clamp protein PCNA, which enhances activity and processivity. Understanding DNA pol ε dynamics and interactions is important for elucidating DNA replication and repair mechanisms, making DNA pol ε A (3C5.1) antibody an invaluable research tool for studying these fundamental biological processes.

Are there any issues with using sc-12728: DNA pol ε A (3C5.1) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: jerojero
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-12728 conjugates.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This antibody does not work in ArabidopsisI ordered a free sample about a month ago. We tried it with Arabidopsis protein extract. It does not recognize Arabidopsis DAN Pol epsilon A even at 1:200 dilution. There was not background signal either. Because the limited amount of free sample in the tube, we were not able to try other dilutions.
