DMBT1 Antibody (A-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects DMBT1 in mouse samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DMBT1, or Deleted in Malignant Brain Tumors 1, plays a crucial role in tumor suppression and is involved in various cellular processes, including cell adhesion and signaling. DMBT1 expression is particularly significant in neural tissues, where DMBT1 interacts with several transmembrane and extracellular proteins that function as receptors and adhesion molecules, thereby influencing cellular communication and stability. Loss of DMBT1 expression has been associated with the progression of gastrointestinal and esophageal cancers, as well as gliomas, highlighting DMBT1′s importance as a potential biomarker and therapeutic target in cancer research. Anti-DMBT1 antibody (A-2) provides a valuable tool for researchers investigating DMBT1′s role in tumor biology and potential implications in cancer diagnostics and treatment strategies.
