DLG5 Antibody (E-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects DLG5 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DLG5 (E-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DLG5, a member of the membrane-associated guanylate kinase (MAGUK) family, maintains structural integrity of epithelial cell plasma membranes and plays a significant role in multiprotein complex assembly at cell junctions. DLG5 localizes at the cell membrane, acting as a molecular scaffold to facilitate signaling protein interactions and transmit extracellular signals to the cytoskeleton. DLG5 interacts with key proteins such as MPP1 and CTNNB1, which are involved in cellular signaling pathways, underscoring DLG5′s importance in cellular communication and structural organization. DLG5 expression is particularly prominent in the prostate and placenta, highlighting DLG5′s potential role in tissue-specific functions and signaling mechanisms.
