DICE1 Antibody (H-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects DICE1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DICE1 (H-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DICE1, also known as deleted in cancer 1, is located on chromosome 13q14 and is recognized as a tumor suppressor gene, particularly in non-small cell lung carcinoma. DICE1 expression is frequently lost or downregulated in these cancers compared to normal lung tissue, primarily due to loss of heterozygosity of chromosome 13, which is susceptible to deletions and rearrangements in lung cancer. DICE1 is homologous to mouse protein DBI-1 at the carboxy terminus, and high levels of DBI-1 can disrupt the mitogenic response to insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1). Both DICE1 and DBI-1 share a highly conserved DEAD-box motif, indicating involvement in essential cellular functions and regulatory mechanisms. Understanding DICE1′s role in tumor suppression is crucial, as this knowledge may provide insights into potential therapeutic targets for treating non-small cell lung carcinoma and other malignancies.

What is the recommended fixation method for immunofluorescence staining with DICE1 (H-6): sc-376524 monoclonal antibody?
