SEE ALSO...

DGK-θ Antibody (E-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects DGK-theta protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DGK-θ (E-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DGK-theta protein plays a crucial role in cellular signaling by phosphorylating diacylglycerol (DAG) to generate phosphatidic acid, both of which are important lipid second messengers involved in various signaling pathways. This process is vital for regulating cell activation and secretion, influencing numerous physiological responses, including cell growth, differentiation, and survival. DGK-theta is predominantly expressed in the cerebellum and hippocampus, areas of the brain associated with motor control and memory, respectively. DGK-theta′s presence in these regions underscores its potential significance in neurophysiological processes and implications in neurological disorders. Through interactions with other diacylglycerol kinases and various signaling molecules, anti-DGK-theta antibody (E-5) serves as a valuable tool for researchers investigating the intricate roles of DGK-theta in cellular signaling and its impact on health and disease.
