SEE ALSO...

Deltex-3 Antibody (C-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Deltex-3 (DTX3) of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DTX3 antibody (C-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The Deltex family of proteins, which includes DTX1, DTX2, DTX3, and DTX4, are mammalian homologs of the Drosophila Deltex protein and are characterized by the presence of two WWE domains and a C-terminal RING-finger domain, which are critical for their function as E3 ubiquitin ligases. DTX3, also known as RNF154 (RING finger protein 154), is a 347 amino acid cytoplasmic protein that plays a dual role as both a negative and positive regulator of the Notch signaling pathway, depending on the specific developmental and cellular context. DTX3 primarily functions as a homomultimer but can also form heteromultimers with other Deltex family members, enhancing regulatory capabilities. DTX3 exhibits highest E3 ligase activity in conjunction with the E2 enzyme UBE2D, underscoring the importance of protein-protein interactions in functional regulation. Additionally, two isoforms of DTX3 arise from alternative splicing, contributing to the complexity of regulatory roles in cellular signaling pathways.
