Delta Antibody (G-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Delta protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Delta antibody (G-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Delta protein, also known as delta-like canonical Notch ligand 1, plays a crucial role in cell signaling pathways essential for proper development and differentiation of various cell types. Delta protein interacts with Notch receptors to regulate cell fate decisions, influencing the balance between cell proliferation and differentiation. Such interaction is particularly important in hematopoiesis, where Delta protein promotes the emergence of T cell and natural killer cell characteristics while inhibiting progenitor cell differentiation into the B cell lineage.
