    SEE ALSO...

DDX38 Antibody (A-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects DDX38 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). DDX38 Antibody (A-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. DDX38 protein, also known as pre-mRNA-splicing factor ATP-dependent RNA helicase PRP16, consists of 1,227 amino acids and is encoded by human gene DDX38. DDX38 is a member of the DEAD-box helicase family, specifically the DEAH subfamily, and features one helicase ATP-binding domain and one helicase C-terminal domain, which are crucial for function as an ATP-dependent RNA helicase. DDX38 plays a key role in RNA metabolism, participating in essential processes such as transcription, splicing, and translation, where DDX38 modulates RNA structure by utilizing energy from nucleoside triphosphate hydrolysis. Understanding DDX38 function is vital, as DDX38 significantly influences gene expression regulation and proper processing of pre-mRNA, which is critical for maintaining cellular function and responding to various physiological stimuli.
